Sharon was a special lady. I met her at Grandview school in Kent when her son Chris and our son Brian were students. We shared a lot of good times. Even did the Santa Secret Shop together. I will miss her happy voice on the phone.

Sharon was a special and gifted lady. Mother, friend to many, and poet. I so enjoyed when she would call me on my birthday to kid me about my age. We played together as children and shared memories as adults. She was the best.

Sharon was my cousin; our fathers were brothers and the best of friends. Sharon was the oldest cousin, I’m the second youngest. As a group, we were small, only five. Now we are two. Sharon was our connection, the matriarch of our tribe. Oh, sweet cousin what will we do without you?

Sharon was “baby-sat”, from time to time, as a young girl by my parents. Their relationship was special and lasted a life-time. Mom and Sharon could talk for hours on the phone to the frustration of my dad. I so wish I could mourn Sharon’s passing with them.

Sharon’s love, care, and concern for all who came her way was unconditional. Thank you, Sharon, for loving me.

Good-bye dear one.

Love, Arlyn

We were long time neighbors in Benson Hills, Kent and I was best friends with Karen, her daughter. She was a caring, lovely lady whom I have always admired. Much love to your family Karen and Duke.

We first met Sharon when our daughters played soccer together probably over 30 years ago. We reconnected with her and her family when our mothers were living in the same retirement community. Such a talented lady. She was always positive even at the end. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I knew Sharon when I used to spend summers at Soap Lake as a teenager.

I’m so sorry to hear of her passing.

Let this be a lesson as I received return mail sent to 21206 109th SE 12/29/05, I wish I had taken time to follow up. Sharon and Duke were always so much fun and I have wonderful memories of our sun tan days.
