I miss you mom and dad!
As a 61 year old man, I have nothing but positive memories of Aunt Sheila. From playing in her and Dan’s front yard as a small child when they lived in Grandview, to her and her family’s visits across the mountains from the Seattle area, she was never too busy to give me some time, always pat me on the head, and allow mom to say the dreaded “Brad’s such a good boy”. In paticular, I remember a smiling and pleasant Aunt at our many Norwegian Christmas Eve celebrations at Grandma and Grandma Nordby’s. She always sent me a card and a personal note on my birthday up to just a few years ago, was excited when she found out that Mavis was active in Sweet Adelines, and was impressive with her intense interest and pride in our Noregian heritage. Although we have depended on my mother to keep us abreast of the Norton’s and Sheila’s activities, I value the pleasant phone conversation I had with her within the last year. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
I love my cousin!!!
Sending a million bazillion hugs to her family.

I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Sheila. I have not seen her or any of her children in such a long time. I remember that any time I spent time around Sheila she was jovial. I was always fascinated with her because of her interest in her heritage and having had so many children. She and Dan had to deal with Lisa and I a couple of times when I went to spend time in Des Moines, they were always so lenient – must have been broken down by the time they got to the last child! Many good memories. To her family, take care and know that my thoughts are with you.
I will miss you.

Our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your Mom:
Your Mom was always like my second Mom! She will be missed!
Our thoughts and our Prayers are with you all!
Sheila was a much-loved member of Valkyrien Lodge, D/N, and we have missed seeing her since she became too ill to attend our functions. She always enjoyed serving the rømmegrøt at our annual Norskfests. Sheila and her family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Our sincere sympathy to all of Sheila’s family.
