Obituary

Sheila Mary Casey, 84, of Seattle Washington, died peacefully in her home with her family on Tuesday October 1, 2024.

Sheila was a teacher and was passionate for those she taught. After retirement, she volunteered with her church, enjoyed working at Mariner baseball games and ushering at The 5th Avenue Theater. Sheila loved to travel and spend time with her friends and family. 

Sheila leaves behind her nieces, Sheila Lechner and Sarah House, their families; Mark and Kieran Lechner and Jason, Maddison, Jackson, and Lincoln House, her cousins Kathy (Don) Bowker and Ed (Jacquè) Houck. 

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, William Casey and Vera Nicol as well as her brother Robert Barber. 

A memorial service for Sheila will be held Saturday October 12 at 11am at St. Francis of Assisi in Burien, Washington with a reception to follow.
