Obituary
Shirley Anne Easter
In loving memory of Shirley Anne Logerwell Easter, Age 72, who passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday, August 22nd, 2009. She was born on September 24th, 1936 in Sabetha, Kansas to the late Oliver Wendell Logerwell and Edna Agnes Muesch Logerwell.
Her family moved to the northwest when she was very young and she spent the majority of her adult life in Portland, Oregon and Kent, Washington. Shirley attended Gresham High in Gresham, Oregon and later attended Green River Community College in Auburn, Washington, where she worked towards her degree in accounting. She was actively involved with the Highline school district Parent Teachers Association for a number of years and served as PTA president.
Shirley was very proud of her 28 years of sobriety that she achieved through Alcoholics Anonymous and from the loving support of her husband whom she met through the program. She was a very kind, caring, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many and will be greatly missed by us all.
Shirley is survived by her beloved husband Walter, sons Neil and Calgary, daughters Debbie and Carol, step daughters Nancy and Jan, brother Larry Logerwell, sisters Dorothy Alms and Beverly Alley, 8 grand children and 12 great grand children, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
