I was so saddened to read in the paper of Shirley’s death. I have many fond memories of times spent in your Boulevard Park kitchen working on Girl Scout projects in the late 60’s. Also of carpooling Kim and Tammy to Camp Long for summer day camps. Shirley was a very caring person who genuinely enjoyed working with children. May those very memories bring comfort to each of you at this time.

Although I didn’t know Shirley Caroline Spridgeon, I do have the same name (Dorothy Spridgeon), but I did want to pay my condolences to her family, as I lost my brother John Spridgeon and sister, Jean (Spridgeon) Dempsey in 2010. May God bless you all in this great loss.
