Shirley Juanita Olson
Born Oct. 11, 1926 in Williston, ND, the sixth of seven siblings, and the last to pass on May 31, 2015 in Spokane, WA.
Married Morris I. Olson June 29, 1946 and subsequently gave birth to daughters Mollie Anita (1949) and Colleen Theo (1954). Shirley taught for the Williston School District #8 for about five years. After moving to Seattle in 1961, both Shirley and Morris began careers with The Boeing Company, from which they eventually retired.
Throughout her life, Shirley loved her family, and doted on her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Nicholas Matthew Burnett (1998), husband Morris (2003), and daughter Colleen Burnett (2008). She is survived by daughter Mollie Forssen (Carl), grandsons George and Mark Burnett, granddaughters Cierra and Lisa Burnett, great-grandson Hayden Burnett, and many nieces and nephews.
Services, burial, and reception to be held at 11am on July 18, 2015 at the Bonney-Watson Funeral Home, 16445 International Boulevard, SeaTac, WA. Remembrances are suggested to your favorite charity.
