We are deeply saddened to learn of Skye’s passing. We enjoyed getting to know him and his family during Clan Moffat gatherings each summer. It is comforting to know that Skye will carry the flame in heaven for Clan Moffat to form the eternal flaming saltire while proudly stating, “I’m Skye Fields from Clan Moffatt and we’re the best damn cattle thieves north of the border!” Rest in peace Skye, you are missed.

It broke my heart when I heard the news of my uncle passing away. I loved him so much and I wish I could have made the funeral. He was good man and made an effort to see our family everytime we took a trip to Washington. Im going to miss him dearly.

I am a co-worker of his and friend for about 8 years now and thoroughly enjoyed every second of our employee interaction at the Boeing Company and our friendship. He was a loving father and spoke often to me about his wife and kids, rest in peace my friend you will be missed! Prayers and condolences for the family members, I am thinking of you all at this time!!! Kenny Mac

I will miss my brother. We enjoyed an affectionate and easy banter when we were together. It is hard to imagine this life without his presence. I hope those who knew Skye and his family will now rally around his sweet wife and children. May we keep them in our prayers and actions now. What a special family he left behind for all of us to enjoy and bless.

I’m so sorry. Just read about this here after looking him up online. We grew up in Federal Way and lived just down the street from each other. We went to Lakota together and were city champs in wrestling together in 1984….ish😂!, I always had great times with Skye at his house and he was a true friend. I’m so deeply disappointed in not getting to speak and reminisce with him. From what I’ve read he had a great life with loving family. Rest assured he is remembered and lives on through all of us. Fly high Lakota Falcon. I’ll miss you my brother. Detective Sean Hamlin, Seattle P.D.
