Sofronio Rosalin Jimenez Jr., known affectionately as Siso, passed away on January 3, 2025, in Seattle, WA, at the age of 78. Born on May 17, 1946, in Pangasinan, Philippines, he was a man deeply rooted in his faith and devoted to his family.
Siso served honorably in the Philippine Navy for 15 years, where he dedicated himself to his duties with vigor and discipline. After his military service, he worked as a Merchant Mariner for 8 years before he transitioned to a civilian career as a Power Plant Operator, working for TEMES Company in Guam for 19 years. His commitment to his work was evident in his meticulous attention to detail and his relentless work ethic.
He pursued higher education at FEATI University, which further solidified his foundation for a successful career. Siso’s personal life was marked by his interests in jogging, biking, reading, and staying informed on current events. He also found joy in hands-on activities like repairing and cleSiso was a loving husband to his spouse, Analiza, and a father to Lex, Rex, Sheila, Jiya, and Sofie. He was a father-in-law to Jayson and Bryan, and a doting grandfather to Jayshel, Jadine, Matteo, and Terry Rose. He is survived by his brother, Wilfredo. Siso was preceded in death by his first wife, Teresita, his parents, Sofronio Sr. and Teofila, and his sister, Ella.
A viewing will be held on Monday, January 20th, from 11 am to 2 pm at Bonney Watson Funeral Home in Seatac, WA. The ceremony will provide an opportunity for friends and family to gather and remember a man who lived a full and meaningful life, marked by dedication to his family, his country, and his faith.
