Obituary

Stanley Tadd Haymond passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2011 in Federal Way, WA. Tadd was born on the May 1, 1934 in Springville, Utah to Heber and Nathalie Haymond. Tadd graduated from high school in Utah and attended Brigham Young University. He served a two year mission for his church in Texas. He was drafted into the Army and was stationed at Fort Lewis for two years. In 1959, he married Darlene Ferwerda and they had four children. Tadd and his wife owned two Frostop Drive-Ins and Tadd served as a State Farm Insurance agent for 37 years in Tacoma, WA.

Tadd is survived by his wife Darlene of 52 years and his four children; daughter Darra and her husband Paul Odenwalder, son Steve and his wife Carrie Haymond, son Scott Haymond, son Shaun and his wife Arely Haymond; 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two brothers, and six sisters.

The funeral will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 841 South 308th Street in Federal Way, WA 98003 on Monday, November 28, 2011. The viewing will be at the church from 9:30 am – 10:45 am with services following at 11:00 am.

My condolences to all. He was a good man and a wonderful friend to Dad. I wish I could have been there.
