Dad, you were the one true person that understood me. And I am the only person that will ever fully understand you. We got each other you and me. I miss everything. Hunting, camping, fishing, watching baseball, and hanging around the house. Thanks to everyone for all your support, I bet no one will ever be as popular as my Dad ; -James, Jameson, Pumpkin head, Jamers, Jayme.

Steve was a great guy to work with and to know. His easy going nature, and friendly smile will be greatly missed. He was allways willing to give his time, and spread his knowledge. He was a great help to those he worked with, and his attitude was a great benifit to our company. It was allways a treat to hang out with Steve away from work, and it was obvious that Steve’s wfe and daughters were the most important things in his life. We will miss Steve very much.

Steve is our brother in law and a very special Uncle to our kids. We can not think of Steve without smiling. We have so many treasured memories. I am so glad his service was a celebration of his life and truely represented him. I will miss his hellos, kisses and that infectious laugh. He was the center of all the get togethers it seemed. We all were given a very special gift when we were brought into Steves’ world. I hope we can carry it forward. We will see you in heaven Steve. Jill, Jayme and Jody our thoughts and prayers are with you and if you need anything we are here. We love you!

they walk beside us every day

unseen, unheard, but always near

still loved, still missed, but ever dear

nothing can ever take away

the love our hearts hold dear

fond memories linger every day

rememberances keep you near

your memory is a keepsake

with which we’ll never part

god has you in his keeping

we have you in our heart

I remember Steve from his much younger years celebrating holidays at his Aunt Winnie and Uncle Jack’s house. I am Jack’s sister Sharon and I was the one always playing the piano for the parties and celebrations we had there. Many good times. I’m sorry I didn’t know him as the wonderful man he became as witnessed by so many good friends with their comments at his memorial service, which I attended. He was well loved and will be missed by many, many friends and relatives. But cherish the memories.

In the short time that we have gotten to know Steve, he has been such an important part of our lives. We will miss him everyday and the neighborhood will never be the same without him. Everytime we pass the garage, we look to see if it’s open and hope to hear Steve yell, Hello! We were lucky to have known him and will remember the fun and inviting guy he was.

My thoughts and prayers are with Steve’s family right now – please know what a great, positive and fun man your husband/father was. He was a great friend in High School and I only wish I had stayed in touch over the years. He will not be forgotten.

With every hello, Steve offered either a hug or a handshake. He made everyone feel welcome and had a way of making simple things seem great.

One quote we often heard from Steve was, “You got egged.” We always enjoyed the laughter that simple phrase brought to those who understood it Steve, Bill, Todd, and Steph.

Steve will be dearly missed by those of us fortunate enough to have called him friend.

Jill, Jayme and Jody our hearts go out to you – may memories of him provide some comfort during this difficult time.

With love,

Todd, Steph & Chantelle

Steve will forever be in our hearts. Steve and his family were the heart of every camping, boating, fishing and hunting experience we had. He brought much joy to every occasion spent with family and friends. We will forever treasure our life experiences with him and admire the friend, the man, the husband and the father he was. We are grateful for the memories and look forward to the time when we meet again. We love you always~ The McClellan’s

My memories with Steve go wayyyy back to “hangin” at his house on the water right out of high school with all of our friends, to the wedding we all shared, and the beautiful children we all brought into this world that has made all of our families complete. No matter when I saw Steve, I was met with Love, kindness, and a huge smile. I will forever remember him for his heartfelt and loving ways. GOD BLESS YOU JILL AND GIRLS

Steve I am so sorry, but at the same time so proud of your courageous fight. You have always been like a big brother to me.. You and Michael were always so crazy and you brought so much joy and needed support to Mike, while he was fighting his demons, you had to face the fight of your life but still pulled him through. I thank you for all the good times and the laughs and you will never be forgotten.

I came to Decor a greenhorn. In my first year working with Steve, he gave me a thousand tips and bits of advice to help me develop in the trade. He was a very talented craftsman, always showing me/us better ways to do things, and he was always a positive, enjoyable person to work with and learn from. I don’t believe I would be nearly as skilled today had it not been for the hints and mental tools that Steve provided. Thank you. You will be missed.
