My condolences to all. Steve was a caring and reliable friend. I remember him as an always upbeat and strong individual. He was never one to burden you with his challenges in life. He was a talented designer who gave great advice on remodeling my house. I will miss him as a great friend and volleyball compadre. Marc and Diana Combs and family.
Dear Joan, Kristina and family,
to hear that Steven had passed away had been really sad news.
My friend Conny and I got to know him in 1993 where he showed us many special places in Seattle. We spent some unforgettable days together. I remember him as an unassuming person with a profounded character and a fantastic sense of humour.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you

Our hearts and our prayers go out to you in this difficult time of sorrow. Steven was truly a wonderful man who enjoyed life to the fullest.
We were blessed to spend a weekend with Steven early in 2006 where he joined us at Parties and sightseeing in Newcastle. We shared many laughs.
May our dear friend rest in peace and may those whom he loved be well cared for.
All our Love

I will miss you, my friend. I served with Steve on the SW Counsil last year. I received my transplant this last November and I haven’t seen anyone since. A friend of mine told me of the obituary and wondered if I knew Steve. What a very kind and gentle soul-Steve will be sorely missed by many. Due to my own health issues, I will be unable to attend.
My family and I have been blessed to know Steven. What a kind soul. Our blessings are with you at this difficult time. Doug and Julie Chadwick and family.
