Died unexpectedly Saturday night, surrounded by her loving family and friends as they celebrated with her the marriage of her son Perry Steen and daughter-in-law Ellen. Also survived by daughter Katherine, brother Neil Bell Caralee of Ellensburg, former husband Richard Steen, Seattle, and numerous adoring and devoted cousins, nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Kenneth Bell and the late Glee Jamison Schlosstein. Granddaughter of Everett timber industry pioneer Neil C. Jamison. Attended St. Nicholas School, Seattle, graduated from Bishop’s School, La Jolla, CA, and the University of Washington. Sustaining member, Seattle Junior League, member Sunset Club, Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Memorial Service, 4 PM, Wednesday, April 27, 2005, Epiphany Episcopal Church, 38th and East Denny Way, Seattle. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Children’s Hospital, American Cancer Society, or charity of your choice.
