Teodora Laigo FLORESCA
Born Oct. 19, 1907 in Bauang, La Union, Philippines, and passed away peacefully in her home on Dec. 2nd 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband Juan and daughters, Naomi Floresca Alvarez and Louise E Floresca. Teodora is survived by her children, John Marilou, Jose Cindy, Lisa Almir Fontanos and Louie Floresca, and 5 grandchildren, Alissa and Linette Fontanos, Juan and Brendan Alvarez, and Casey Floresca. When in the Philippines, she realized early that her calling in life was to take care of children; her own as well as countless others. She attributed her long life to keeping busy and helping others. She was very close to the Lord and believes that is what kept her strong. A longtime parishioner of Seattle’s Immaculate Conception Church, she rarely missed a Sunday service and will be remembered by many for her quiet untiring strength, loyalty, generosity and loving smile. Memorial contributions to Teodora Floresca Fund at any Key Bank will be given to her favorite non-profit.
