Obituary
Teofilo del Rosario passed away on July 22, 2021 at the age of 85 near his Des Moines, WA home at Wesley Health Care & Rehabilitation Center.
Frequently seen with a big smile on his face, the simplest pleasures in life made him happy. He could often be found looking out of the front window of his home or enjoying the view at the fishing pier at the Des Moines Marina with his dog Rico by his side. After retiring as a welder at Todd shipyards, he stayed busy by completing projects around the house and manicuring his impeccable yard. His family brought him the greatest joy. He would often check in with family members by phone or at family functions.
He was preceded in death by parents Agustin and Leoncia Rosario, brothers Gene del Rosario, Benny del Rosario, Arturo Suyat, Bernardo Rosario, and sisters Maria Saldivar, Dominga Luzano, Felicitas Fontanilla. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cresencia, son, Gary, sisters, Consuelo Pagal, Patricia Vitente, Erlinda Soriano, and brother Narciso del Rosario.
Memorial to be held at Bonney Watson Funeral Home on Sunday August 8th, viewing starting at 10:00am and program beginning at 11:00am. Light refreshments to be served after the program. Interment services to be held the following day at Washington Memorial Park at 10:30am with final goodbyes at Bonney Watson Funeral Home beginning at 9:30am.
