Teresa shared her beautiful Heaven with me and my husband in 1994, and we received our beloved Bastion in 1996. Teresa and I considered ourselves to jointly be the mothers of these beautiful dobermans, and I know they are there to sit at her feet, along with Cayenne and all the others she loved. My condolences to her family, I am so glad I got to know her, and got a few of those big hugs, and had the chance to live with the wonderful animals she cared so much about. Amanda and Kyle Duncan

I was deeply shocked when I heard of Teresa’s passing. I’m glad I had the opportunity to say goodbye on my last day at work with her.

You couldn’t help but to smile when you spoke with Teresa. Her passion for life, for dogs, and for the people around her was contagious.

I don’t have a doberman but she never failed to ask about Annie my schipperke.

My condolences to Teresa’s family and friends.

Regards,

Destynee

Teresa was my “Pollyanna” in the office. No matter how tough her day was, she was still smiling, laughing and insistant on cheering up the rest of us. She put others first even when you knew she needed for it to be her. She was an extraordinary person who now has the wings she deserved.

I was reading all of these lovely comments about Teresa and agreeing with them. When I reached the comment “The Dobermans Are Weeping” I lost it! This has got to be the truth. Dobermans were so much a part of her life. I know that the first place she went was to the Rainbow Bridge. Her Dad, Tim, and her Grandmother, Kathryn, were there waiting because they knew that was the first place she would go. The world is a lesser place with her passing, and I will miss her a great deal! I know her friend Pat, and her dogs Sugar Ray, Bella and Charlie will always miss her.

Teresa was such a wonderful person. She was one of the first people I met in dobermans and was always so encouraging and helpful. I can’t believe I won’t see her beautiful smile and share another great big hug with her.

She will be greatly missed!

Sleep softly sweet Teresa.

Teresa was such a jewel. I will truly miss her sense of humor, her warm hugs and her genuine kindness to all. Through all the years she was always one I looked forward to seeing at the dog shows. Always kind and loving to all. I’m sure she was tackled when she arrived by all the dogs that loved her and she helped. God speed dear friend, my heart aches missing you already.

Teresa was one of those folks who never says a bad thing about anyone…no matter what. She was a consistant anchor….always solid, smiling, and looking forward with a positive attitude even during her greatest trials with her health. We will all miss her smiling face and good nature.

She always managed to cheer up everyone at ringside.

Shocked and saddened by Teresa’s passing…always cheerful and friendly at the dog shows…volunteered to watch our dogs for us at Canby last June cheerfully, while we worked for the MHDPC…so sad we didn’t get to know her better…

The world was surely brighter for knowing Theresa was in it. How cruel; how much more light she had to share…
