Karen and Family,

We know how strong you all are, and that you will get through this horrible time. The memories of time spent with Terry will help you get through the hard days. Some of our favorite times with him are the first fish he caught at the lake; washing dishes at the Firemen dinner every year, making Amy’s Wedding Cake, 4th of July’s;

helping Keith build a section of the dock; New Years Eve’s. but the best was arriving at bowling each Wednesday night to be greeted by Terry with a hug and kiss.

Karen, we love you and are here for you whenever you need us.

Mom-

Terry was the best thing to happen to you in a long time. He made us all smile with his goofy spirit. He had a lasting impact on all of us. I am so glad that he came in to our lives. Grandpa fluff was a joy to my kids and we are sad that they won’t be able to spend more time with him. I will miss all the cute things that grandpie did his mean face especially.

I could always tell that Terry was the person you were waiting for, that you two were soul mates. I could just look at you and tell how truly happy he made you. I’m glad that for a short time Terry was able to take care of you. I think both you and Terry helped each other conquer you demons and make you lives better.

I always appreciated how willing grandpa was to help us out. Going out of his way to watch Cassie and Erik for us, making whatever treats we were hoping for, and everything else he did without hesitation.

I hope grandpa knew how much we loved him and even though I teased him I only ever did it out of love.

I want you to remember that you are stronger than you think you are and you will make it for no other reason then that is what Terry would want you to do. You can survive this and live on to honor Terry in everything that you do.

Amy, Mike and Brian I hope you know that no matter what happened between you and your father he did and always will love you guys and couldn’t have been prouder.

The one thing that Terry’s death has taught us all is that we need to live in the moment, don’t take for granted our friends and loved ones and don’t wait until tomorrow to mend a hurt relationship because that tomorrow may never come.

Momma I love you more than anything. Just know that I too know you are strong enough to make it through this. I will always be here for you if you need me no matter how big or small, serious or silly it may be.

LOVE YOU LOTS!!

Karen, Matt, and Jenny, my prayers and thoughts are with all of you and your families during this time. It was such a joy to see your families come together in love with Terry in their lives. He loved the grandchildren and all of you.

Karen, my strongest and fondest memory of Terry is his constant affection for you through roses. Roses when you returned from a cruise, roses while dating, roses at the wedding, and roses throughout the whole first year of marriage. He truly loved his Karen, his rose.

Love you all

Patrice Frank

We really never think something like this will every happen to us, only to someone else, and then, it does. This is the guy I looked up to growing up and still to this day. We grew up with this guy and his funny antics and learned a lot from him. We are all still in shock, as is his childhood friends and neighbors. Remember these kinds things can happen to you and we need to stay close to all our families and friends. Karen, we wish you confort and peace.

Dearest Karen,

I never had the honor of meeting your husband Terry, though I’ve heard some very sweet stories over the years and I was so very happy that you had found such a wonderful, loving mate and the happpiness you so richly deserve. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss and know that my thoughts are with you.

Your strength and that of your loving family will carry you through this very difficult time.

The memories survive, good and bad, but please believe that there will come a time when remembering is no longer so painful; the shock wears off, the brief “sightings” finally stop and it’s OK.

May your dreams be sweet, your rest deep and your love enduring.

Your friend,

Kelli

Karen, Every time I think of Terry I smile. I remember when you showed me through the new kitchen remodel and thinking how much more pleasant Terry’s baking will be. I’m glad you had the shared experiences with Terry and knowing you will always have those wonderful memories.

He will continue to bring a smile to my face whenever I write my initials. I changed my initials because you became a KM as well. As a result I added a very simple lower case “c”

Take care. KMc

Dear Karen & Family,

Words cannot adequately express my feelings surrounding your great loss. Reading the thoughts others have shared about Terry give me the sense that he was an ideal soul mate and losing him must hurt in ways I cannot even imagine. At the same time, I’ve learned things about Terry that I know will make his memory eternal.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May Terry’s memory fill your heart each and every day.

Respectfully,

-tom

Karen, as I reflect on the stories that you would tell of Terry and yourself that hear the love you had for each other and the happiness and joy you felt with him in your life I am grateful that you had such a wonderful blessing in your life. I do not know how to begin to express my sadness for your loss and the children’s loss. I will pray that your strength will triumph through these times and you will find comfort in your memories. – Sincerely, Teresa

Mike, Amy, and Brian,

My heart is aching for you at the loss of your Dad. I remember so many moments from the past when we were a young family and you were growing up. Mike, our precious firstborn, from the moment you could toddle, you followed Dad around like a shadow, “helping” on household projects. He didn’t dare go out to mow the lawn without you because you would cry until he let you help. Amy, our beautiful daughter, you had a special place in Dad’s heart, being the only girl. You were Dad’s “Punkin” and you always will be. And now you are carrying our first grandchild, and I know he was filled with joy about that. And Brian, our youngest, and so much like your Dad, especially your voice. You were his bowling protege. Mike and Brian, I know that Dad is extremely proud of your accomplishments, talents, and the fine men you have become. Amy, I know he is proud of you for the amazing and caring woman that you have become. Please know kids, that I loved your father and that even though we parted ways, he was significant in my life journey and he always will be because I see a parts of him in each of you. And Peter, thank you so much for being the rock in our family. It means so much.

All my love,

Mom
