Thomas James McCann

Thomas J. McCann passed away on August 1st, 2016. He is the last of five children born to John Norman McCann and Della Perdue. He attended eight years in a one-room school, going to high school for two years and then two years at the approved school in Badaxe, Michigan. He followed up at Michigan State University where he got a degree in Metallurgical Engineering.
He got a Master’s Degree in the class of ’54 from the Chrysler School of Engineering. He was drafted in 1954, serving as an Army Specialist and returned to Seattle, Washington. He continued his lifelong commitment to fishing and hunting and his long-lived program with gardening.
He has three children: Michael, Jean (Jay) with two great grandchildren, Jamie and John, and Bill with grandson Thomas M.
