Obituary
Timothy Craig Thorlacius
September 5th 1958 – August 6th 2009
Tim left us on August 6th 2009, he was beloved brother, uncle and friend to us all. Tim will never be forgotten for his kind heart and gentle ways. Yes he was a party animal till he could party no more due to health issues. He tried very hard in the end to do the right thing. He had been clean and sober for over 100 days and we are very proud of him for that. When Jeanie died Tim moved in with Rich, John and Jack he helped with the kids and they helped him in many ways, and we want them to know how much we appreciate them for taking care of Tim in the end.
Tim is preceded in death by his Father and Mother Harley and JoAnn Thorlacius, Sister Jeanie Golby, Brother Jim Thorlacius and brother-in-law Roy Mayer.
He is survived by his brother and sisters, Wade Thorlacius, Valerie Nakkour, Arlee Mayer, Janelle Bell, Mary Thorlacius and Stacey Obrigewistch Brother in-law Rich Golby. His many Nephews and Nieces – Ali Nakkour, Jamal Nakkour, Bishar Nakkour, Leila Nakkour. Zachary Thorlacius, Peter Thorlacius, Kristie Thorlacius-Cleaver. Ryan Mayer, Roy Mayer, Felecia Mayer. Dear my sweetest kindest Tim,
I miss you sooooo much! I am so glad that you were at my wedding and you were apart of our special day that I will remember forever. I will never forget the times when you lived with us and took care of us. We had so much fun together you were always such a great cook and you cooked us many meals and also taught me how to cook. You got me my first job at flap jacks and you worked there too! I was always so excited when we would work together! You are one of the kindest sweetest guys I have ever known. Thank you for loving me and showing the same love to my kids. Uncle G-U-T Great Uncle Tim! I love you so much always and forever. I will never forget you. You will always be in my heart.
Love,
Your Neice

Hi. I’m Harlan’s daughter…Emily. I just want you all to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Losing someone, so close, is so very hard, I know. I pray that heartache be replaced with peace within your hearts. You have been through so much, and your losses within your family are much more than than you should endure. Please know that, although the distance seems great, I am here for you!
Dear Tim, Family and Friends,
Our hearts are heavy with the passing of you, Tim. We are sad not only because of your passing, but also because we didn’t take the time to know you better. Listening to your brother Wade’s description of you, you hadn’t changed alot since we played as children here in North Dakota. We will hang onto those memories. I am sorry that the miles have kept us apart.
Family and friends, we wish you the kind of peace that lasts through the hardest times. We know that your love for each other will grow to fill the gap in your lives that Tim’s passing left. We love you all.
Tim

To the Thorlacius family – I remember as a kid your large family in that small house in White Center…..made things a little difficult at times. But the thing I remember most was the love you all had for each other…and it’s that love that will get you through yet another tragic loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. The Evetts family
I remember Tim as always being a stand up guy Who always had your back .. Rest In Peace Buddy ……
My sincere condolences to the family. He will be remembered in your hearts always.
My heart goes out to each of Tim’s sisters and brothermy cousinsand their families. You have all experienced so many losses in your family. Love each other, tell each other and appreciate what you have as a family. Sometimes our life on earth ends so suddenly you don’t have the time to tell them you love them.
I hope your good memories will soon make you smile and that your faith will help you know someday you will all be together again.
May angels bear you on wings of love and peace.
Love you all, Evie
