We are so saddened to hear about Ute’s passing. What a blessing to be her neighbor for 7 years. Her laughter will be missed. How fitting for her open house to be on Christmas Eve, it was always her favorite time to gather family and friends. Thinking of you all and sending our love.

I was so shocked and saddened upon hearing the news of your mother’s passing. She was a wonderful lady. I spent times at your parent’s home for birthday and holiday celebrations. I worked with Jan (at Shasta) and she introduced me to your folks. Your dad was my doctor for some time. They were both wonderful and gracious people.

She will be truly missed and I will always remember her infectious laugh. What a wonderful celebration of her life on Christmas Eve. All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers for comfort and peace. God Bless.

Kristi and Scott,

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom’s passing. I have such fond memories of the years I spent Christmas with your family. I’ll never forget singing the 12 Days of Christmas around the table before Christmas dinner!! Thank you for sharing your parents with me. Your Dad always was (and always will be) my favorite boss, and your Mom was so generous to me too. Knowing how much your Mom loved the Christmas season, I think it is so great that you are having an open house for her on Christmas Eve.

Please know that my thoughts are with you all at this time.

My heart is broken at the loss of my long time friend. Ute will be sorely missed by all my family. We have shared many Christmas Eves over roughly 35+ years. Poker, golf and garage sale buddy, I’m grateful for all the good times we had even though you did nag about stopping to eat a lot. You will always be in my heart.

I had the pleasure of being Ute’s neighbor in DesMoines. I was sad to hear of her passing last year. I’ll always remember our last gathering with all of the neighbors. She always had such a sense of humor, even through the terrible property management situation. I’m glad I got to know her, even for a short time. May she rest in peace, and her family be comforted.
