I always enjoyed working with Vada in her garden, visiting with her and her dog, Joy. She truly loved her roses!

Vada was a very dear friend for so many years. I meet her for the first time, just before he married Bill. Bill had been a hunting friend of my Dads when I was just a little girl in 1947. He would come up each hunting season and go with my Dad and sometimes Bills brother, Del would come. Our familes stayed close over the years. Her girls are just about the same age as our two childern, Jeff and Carman. When we would make the trip into Seattle, the kids had a great time playing together, while the adults would visit. Vada always served us a great meal, before we would head home. She would also send a box of dresses that Jeni had outgrown for Carman. Carman didn’t get much use out of them, as she was a real little tom boy. We will miss Vada, as we did Bill. Our love and prayer to the girls. Anna May Pell Blang

Everything was perfect!

I thank her family for the loving tribute, and all they did for her.

It was great to see everyone & share stories & memories of Vada. She was a very unique person, and we each had our special happy memories.

With love & prayers to each of you,

her ‘forever friend’, Carol and Lou.
