Obituary

Venita Johnson was born on May 10, 1961 to Robert and Bonita   Johnson in Seattle, WA. She grew up in Seattle, in the Yesler Terrace  neighborhood.  She attended school in Seattle and also attended South Seattle Community College, where upon completion she received her Cosmetology Certification. 

She was a loving and caring mother of four girls; Jamila, Antoinette, Kimmei’sha, and Samone. She was a devoted and loving             grandmother of four grandchildren; Jayda, Jaylen, Anthony Jr., and Dont’ae. 

Venita accepted Christ at an early age, devoting her life to serving the Lord.

Venita enjoyed life and was a loving person to all she meet. She also found joy in being a school bus driver and appreciated the many     personalities of the children she came in contact with, as well she   enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading her bible,   crocheting, and cooking.

God called her home on February 23, 2015. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Daniel and Pauline West, Father  Robert Johnson, Aunt Patricia Green, and her older Sister Bonita Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother; Bonita Johnson; four daughters; Jamila Hall, Antoinette Mosby, Kimmei’sha Anderson, and Samone Washington; four grandchildren; Jayda Williams, Jaylen Morgan, Anthony Williams, and Dont’ae Williams; her nephew;     Wilson Pettiford and her niece, Jessica Samuels.

Venita will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
