Vernon Richard Parks
Vernon was born in Humphrey, Nebraska October 18, 1921. He passed January 5, 2012 in Federal Way, Washington. Vernon served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II and was stationed in England.
He is survived by his loving wife Marjorie, son Ronald and his wife Barbara, sisters Irene, Marcella, and Germaine, brothers Melvin, Richard and Eugene, three grandchildren Bryan, Jennifer, and Tammy, and five great-grandchildren Alyssa, Emma, Jessica, Erica, and Nicholas. He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Ida Parks and sister Hilda.
Vernon will be interred in Tahoma National Cemetery.
Rest in peace, Grandpa.

I am so sorry for your loss. It seems as though vernon was a big part of my life growing up. He had a great sense of humor and will never think of him without picturing him with his crew cut. I know he will be missed.
