Obituary
Vicki Lynn Licht
10/31/1953 to 01/18/2018
Vicki Lynn Baker was born October 31, 1953 to Robert and Fay Baker in Seattle Washington. Vicki grew up in Washington where most of her working career was spent at Boeing where she received numerous awards for outstanding services. She was an active member of United Way, loved volunteering for the special olympics, playing softball, and adored animals.
In 1995, Vicki’s love of the outdoors lead her to move to Alaska where she met her husband Mike Licht and son Shane Licht. In 2005, Vicki unfortunately suffered a stroke leaving her unable to speak and paralyzed on her right side. Even though her speech was limited, she always got her point across. In 2014, Vicki and her family decided to move to Washington so they could be closer to immediate family. Over the last four years, Vicki really enjoyed spending lots of time with her family.
Vicki is preceded in death by her father Robert Baker, brother’s Martin Baker, James Beard, sister Charlene Conley, and brother-in-law Dan Wilbanks. Vicki leaves behind her husband Mike Licht, son Shane Licht, mother Faye Beard, sister and brother-in-law Cathie and Darrell Rodgers, sister Debby Wilbanks, brother and brother-in-law Kenneth and Steven Baker-Smythe along with numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Vicki will always be remembered as a loving mother, excellent wife, caring sister, and terrific aunt. She had a wicked sense of humor, enjoyed life, and had the most infectious laughter.
You will always be loved and never forgotten.
God Bless
