I miss you papa! You asked everyday for years if I was hungry, had money in my wallet, had clean clothes for school, and if I finished all my homework. You checked up on me at night and gave me an extra blanket whenever I looked cold. You taught me to brush my long hair before I slept so I won’t wake up with a tangled mess. You always walked me to the car and made sure I was safe until I drove away. You always sat on the front porch waiting for me to come home to welcome me back. People ask me from time to time where I learned to put on makeup and how did I start off. I tell them that you were the one who always asked for makeovers and manicures since you bought me the makeup kit @ Toys R Us when I was 3. You were like the older sister in my life, you wore my clip on earrings, wore a fedora hat, walked around in mom’s heels and her bag while playing tea party and doctor with me. You made me the person I am today. You not only gave me life and everything I needed as a person, but you showed me the love and power of Christ. You are a warrior papa, you showed us your strongest when you were at your weakest. I love you, and until we meet again! This is never a goodbye, but I will see you later. Have fun with manong Nathan and Manang Amberly while you’re in Heaven!
