Vincent Coluccio
May 29, 1930 - August 16, 2007
Obituary
An incredibly kind, loving and generous soul left us peacefully on August 16th, at the age of 77. Vince Coluccio was an icon in many ways; a successful business man in the construction field along side his father, uncle and brother with Coluccio Construction, as an owner of the Seattle Sounders soccer team and brought them to a National Championship in 1982 and as a 4th of July enthusiast, throwing incredible parties highlighting pyrotechnic extravaganzas over his home on Angle Lake. An alumnus of U.W., Vince enjoyed Husky football and was a season ticket holder as a Tyee Booster Club member for over 30 years. But most importantly, Vince was a loving man. He also was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and son. He was generous and genuine with his many friends, employees and people in the communities in which he was so well known. In his early years and into his later years, Vince led a multi faceted life, with many exciting and even some challenging chapters.
Survived by his loving wife, Teri; sons Chris Tammi, Vincent Jr. Theresa and Mario Coluccio; daughters Annamaria and Carla Coluccio and five grandchildren, VJ, Paige, Gabriel, Michael and Raphael, and his brother Frank Coluccio, nephews and niece. Vince’s compassion of love and family extended to Kenny and Chip Graeber in which he raised as his own, along with Judy Coluccio with whom he had a prior marriage. Vince was fortunate to recently connect with his paternal roots in Calabria, Italy and enjoyed a wonderful visit with his family, facilitated by the Cordi family.
As Vince had Parkinson’s disease, a very special thank you to all who cared for him, the doctors, care givers and everyone who was compassionate to him during his many difficult days.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 22nd from 3:00-8:00pm at Bonney-Watson, Washington Memorial, 16645 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA 206 242-1787. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 4415 S. 140th St., Tukwila, WA 98168. Internment at Washington Memorial Park. Vince will be loved and missed each and everyday. We love you!
Vince you were a amazing person. Thank you for all the great memories and all that you shared. Growing up around Vince Jr. You were always there to say “stay out of trouble”, “what time will you be back” and “where are you going”. We usually ended back at Vince’s for dancing, boat rides, swimming, and good food. Not to mention a few parties:
You will be missed.
Love,
Jason Burdine

A chldhood is filled with so many different memories. Some of my most memorable were with Coluccios. I feel ackward addressing him as Vince, because it was always Mr. Coluccio growing up. Mr. Coluccio’s house was always very welcoming, warm and inviting. I never felt like a stranger but as one of the family. Some of the memories that stand out of this wonderful man were; getting the hot tub and pool ready in the middle of winter so two whinny kids could go swimming and he would join us, panning gold in Juneau,AK and shipping the dirt back to Seattle so we could pan for gold in the Kitchen at Angle Lake, the secret stash of M-80’s during the 4th, Terri asking for grocery money and telling Mr. Coluccio $100 bill was too much so he ripped it in half, Sounder games, dinner at the ol’ Italian place on Airport Way, fighting with the Peacocks, getting rides on Fat Alice in the Pit, always the scary mask on Halloween, always joking, the green dinosaur in driveway and car rides skiing. He always gave with no expectation of anything in return. He was happy and constantly laughing. Looking back, it was apparent that his family and friends came first before anything else.
Our entire family is deeply sadden by the news and grive with you. His life was wonderful and will be celebrated. Much love.
Lyon
At this time of great loss, our prayers and thoughts are with the entire family.

The Coluccio Family:
The loss of Vince is a very hard thing,
His heart was like gold and his smile was like the brightness of spring.
As I see the children of the Coluccio Family here on the ground the simile on there face tells me his spirits around.
Mary and Joseph now have the son in Mark’s eyes Vince Coluccio is always #1.
It was a great time and honor to have worked for Vince Coluccio for many years. We finished a lot of projects in the NW with challenges and so many great memoris of Vince and everyone who worked with and for him. He will be greatly missed.
Vince,What a kind and generous person you where; always giving and loving. You were also so much fun too. I will fondly remember trips to Vegas with you, Teri and all. My eyes popped out of my head the first time I saw your diamond “Vince” bracelet which was only worn of Vegas trips. You always opened your doors and hearts to those around you. I will miss you dearly.
