Vin was my dads brother and they were very close, they worked together at City Light and I will always remember the many Christmas’s and Thanksgiving we shared together over the years. He was easy to talk to, he had great integrity and loved and cared for his family. One of my most favorite memories of him was saying to me when I was about twelve that he wanted to ride my horse, I didn’t believe he would because none of the other adults would do it. He climbed up on pepper and off he rode like he had been riding all his life I was amazed. I have a picture of Uncle Vin and Aunt Eseline when they got married and it holds a very honored spot in my home. He will always be remembered.

As much as I hate to see Dad go, I know he served his purpose well and it was his time. He will be missed by many.

Rest well dad, you deserve it!

We’ll take care of mom for you and don’t forget to watch the Hawks in the Superbowl.

Love,

Ric

Grandpa; He was and still will be a man that will always be a inspration to me, he showed me how to work on cars and challenge some pretty hard tasks, When the holidays would come my freinds would ask me where i was going, i would say well we will start the day at my grandparents house and they would say grandparents! now i know why, i was pretty lucky. i am always reiminded that i have my grandfather’s and dads attitude, i take that as a complement, Gramp’s you will missed J.V.

I met grandpa many years ago when I started dating JV. I was welcomed into their home and hearts and treated as part of the family right from the beginning. I knew grandpa longer than I ever knew any of my own grandparents. He was kind and gentle and had so many interesting and funny stories about his life and travels.. We will miss him dearly. Love ya grandpa

Hey Gramps, it’s been a long time. I haven’t forgotten about you or gramma. I had so many fun and funny times at the house on the holidays. Like the time you were taking pictures and went in the closet to change the film. You emerged from the closet with a huge grin and said. There’s no film in this camera !! We cracked up. I wonder how the impact of your deaths d the deaths that followed impacted our family. It’s sad to say that as our older relatives pass on the closeness of our connections seems to fall apart. Sad. Well god bless still miss you. .
