Obituary

Vince Gahl

34, of Yelm WA died on Sunday, June 20, beloved son of Margaret Gahl of Seattle and John Gahl of California. He will be dearly missed by his Grandma Dorothy Gahl, sister Sheryl Bauer , son Travis, cousins Linda, Kris, Debi, Becky, Cindie, and Ronalee, and best friend Buster, his dog. All the neighborhood kids called him Uncle Vince, going for long walks along the Nisqually River with him and Buster. Vince was a very kind, caring, generous man and will be missed by all his family and friends. He enjoyed driving trucks in the grocery business. Born and raised in Seattle, he enjoyed fishing and camping in the Cascades, cooking for friends and family, decorating his house and yard for holidays, and especially the 4th of July. So now every 4th of July, he will have the best seat in the house, looking down at the fireworks, enjoying every minute of it. So when we see the shooting fireworks, we will think ”Here’s to you, Vince.” Services will be held at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd So, SeaTac, 206 242-1787, on Saturday, June 26, at 12:30.

Our condolences go to John, Margaret and Cheryl. It has been a while since we were next door neighbors, but still remember you as good neighbors. We will be unable to attend the memorial service on Sat as we will be out of town. The peace of the Lord be with you all.

Although we did not know Vince, our thoughts and prayers are with your family, as it is so very difficult to lose a person so young.

We were so shocked to hear the news. Have not seen any of the family for many years but you all are most certainly in our hearts during this time.

Can see a family resemblence in the picture of Vince and his son.

God’s Blessings to all of you.

It has been such a long time since we have had contact with anyone in Seattle. Although we never knew Vince we are very sorry for your loss. We will keep you in our prayers, may God provide you with comfort. Travis resembles my cousin Dick Grimshaw.

Well it only took me 10 years to do this you were always the back bone in our relationship not me. I’m at loss without you we promised that we would be with each other no matter what when we got old sitting on our porch in rockers talking about old times and having laughs. If I capfuls have any wish in the world Vince it would be to have you alive. I well always love you now you and my dad can kick it together up there. I love and miss you everyday
