Obituary
Virginia grew up in St. Louis Missouri and graduated from Loretto academy class of 1941. She went on to attend Maryville college in St. Louis Missouri and graduated with a BA in drama. It was in St. Louis where she met her beloved husband of over 63 years John Richard Mullins. Virginia was a homemaker and mother to three children. She was actively involved in her church and contributed to and visited a mission in Malawi Africa called Namitembo sponsored by her church St. Bridget. She also belonged to the Woman’s Guild at her church. She traveled extensively with her husband to 192 countries. She had a passion for gardening, cooking, sailing and was an animal lover. She also was a Girl Scout leader. She will always be remembered for her loving generous personality and great sense of humor. Mom had a passion for the arts including opera and ballet. Mom herself practiced ballet for 40 years at the Cornish Institute in Seattle. For many years mom drove a cherry apple red 1967 Mustang convertible most of the time with a dog riding shotgun with her.
Your wonderful Virginia is now laughing and entertaining the rest of the angels with her incomparable sense of humor. We miss her.
