Virginia Ruth Colasurdo

Age 86, died peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital with her family at her side on Sunday, February 22, 2009 and heaven welcomed a beautiful Lady. Husband Mike of 47 years, her daughters, Diane, Linda, Ann Marie, son Bobby, sister Louise, and 4 grandchildren survive Virginia. Her sisters Lois and Georgette preceded her in death. Virginia was born December 5th, 1923 to Ruth and George Clark of Jacksonville, Florida. She was a beloved, patient wife, mother, and grandmother who treasured her family and friends. Much of her life was devoted to her family’s care and well being. Virginia loved gardening and sewing clothes for her granddaughters Elizabeth and Allison. She belonged to a garden club and cherished those activities and the time she spent with her friends. She loved, was well loved, and will remain cherished by all who knew her. A graveside service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 Southeast 240th St., Kent on Friday, 03/06/09 @ 1:15p.m., a family and friends ‘Celebration of Life,’ gathering after graveside services @ The Olson Mansion, 21401 244th Ave. SE, Maple Valley. In lieu of flowers the family suggests remembrances be made to: Salvation Army.

Virginia was such a wonderful woman, full of so much spirit and always had a smile. She will be missed dearly and our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Aunt Virginia was a beautiful, loving, and special woman. Always waiting with a warm hug and bright smile. Full of love and life, she will be greatly missed. My husband and I send out deepest thoughts and prayers to her family, and we take comfort that she is a peace in the Lord’s loving arms. Heaven has just received a Angel.
