Obituary

Vivian Dunn, an Enumclaw resident the past seven years, died March 27, 2011 at the age of 97. She was born September 15, 1913, in Manning, North Dakota. She was one of five children all who have preceeded her in death. She met and married Willard Bill Dunn in November of 1939. They moved and resided in Walla Walla, Washington where they raised one daughter, Beverly and twin sons, Clifford and Larry. They moved to Spokane for a short stay, and traveled on to the west part of the state and enjoyed family life in West Seattle. Vivian played a significant part in the raising of her family as Bill was absent due to military service. She loved boating and traveling with Bill and friends of the American Legion. Vivian’s biggest pleasure was to spend time with family, especially the ‘grandkids’. All who knew Vivian, remark on her sincere kindness and loving nature. Vivian now joins her beloved Beverly and husband ‘Bill’ who have gone before her. A viewing is planned from 10:00AM to 12:30PM followed by a graveside memorial service at 1PM. All are invited to sign the online guest book.

My memories of Auntie Vivi go back along way. She and Uncle Willard used to take me to Berg’s Ice Cream Parlor in the summer in Walla Walla. I used to stand in the front seat between them. They were my second Dad and Mom

I will miss her sweet smile and gentle ways. You will be remembered always

Love,

Arlen & Ute

Dear Cliff, Jo, Larry,Sue & Family

I will always remember the times we spent with Aunt Vivie & Uncle Willard playing cards, celebrating Holidays, etc. together with both families. There are so many wonderful memories of all of our times together. What a wonderful life we have had because of the great mom’s and dad’s we had in Aunt Vivie, Uncle Willard, Mom and Dad. Some people only get to have one Mom and Dad but we were blessed with TWO. I know now Aunt Vivie is in heaven with Uncle Willard,Berverly and Mom and Dad. Aunt Vivie was so precious to all of us. There will always be a special place in my heart for Vivie.

Dear Cliff and Larry and Family,

We just learned, today, of Auntie Vivie’s passing. I will tell you that she was an absolute angel and I have very fond memories of driving to Seattle to see her and Uncle Willard. You are very lucky to have had such a wonderful mom who always spread so much joy in her family’s lives. Although this is a sad time, I know that she is now well and happy with Bev and Uncle Willard. Auntie Vivie was truly one of a kind. I hope she also tells Aunt Bernie my grandma, Uncle George my grandpa, my beautiful daughter, Angela and my brother Michael, that we miss them so. God bless and keep all of you, and please know that Auntie Vivie is now at the Lords side and at peace.

Sincerest Condolences,

Scott and Wendy Heiser
