Virginia was born and grew up in Williamsport Pennsylvania. She began a new life in 1960 in Seattle Washington. She worked for Sunny Jim’s for 26 years and NW Glass for 10 years. After retiring she enjoyed working in the lunchrooms for the Highline grade schools. She was a very warm and caring person and was always thinking of others. She is survived by a daughter Karen Bitz and her husband Gary of Federal Way, a son Mark Ostby of Seattle, a granddaughter Amber Martin of Lake Charles Louisiana, and 2 great grandchildren Trey and Tyson Martin. She was a truly a good and warm person. I will miss her alot.

I had the privilege of working with Ginny for 12 years at Sunny Jim. When the job tensions started to get turned up she could always say something that would make me laugh. My time at Sunny Jim was a special time in my life and I am thankful she was part of it. I was the yougest person there and I learned alot from her. When I hear that one of my coworkers from Sunny Jim has pass away I feel like I’ve lost a part of me. I was fortunate to have been her co worker
