I am so lucky that Dad was my Dad. My life could have so easily taken another path.

I had a wonderful childhood filled with camping trips, hikes, family gatherings and fishing trips. Yes, I actually did fish when I was a little girl!

Dad was always there for me; offering his wisdom, giving his love, creating wonderful memories.

Thank you Dad. You will live in my heart forever.

Uncle Wally was a great hunter and fisherman. When I was young I would go over to his house by SouthCenter for a sleepover with my cousin Jimmy. I would see all the deer heads on the walls and the antlers in the garage. But the big Mountain Lion rug really scared me. I asked Uncle Wally how he got that one. He said he was hunting for deer and came around a rock. He was face to face with this huge Mountain Lion and it came at him. He shot it and killed it with only 10′ to spare! Pretty cool story when you’re 8 yrs old!! We will miss your hunting and fishing stories, laughter, gardening, warmth and creativity.

We both worked with Wally and thought that he was a wonderful person. The visual of Wally laughing and smoking his cigar is etched in our minds.

After Wally moved to Sequim, Larry enjoyed many long phone conversations with him. Wally will be greatly missed.

Deepest sympathy to his family.

With Love,
