It was great working with Ward. He was such a positive, encouraging person. He spoke often of his son and times they spent together. I know it is a tremendous loss, and I hope his son knows that Ward truly cherished him and all the time they spent together.

Ward will be truly missed and I am grateful for the opportunity I had in getting to know him and work for him. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends.

To the Royce Family,

I am so sad to hear of your loss. It has been years since I have seen any of you, but your family meant so much to me growing up. Ward was a good guy to know, a happy cheerful spirit. Thank you for sharing your home and family with ours. I don’t have any particular memory, just the ups and downs of kids, playing, bike riding, bee stings in the woods… your mom fixed me up – our parents being friends. All in all just good neighbors to the full extent of the words. And if I may, a special hello to Kit. May God give you all peace in this difficult time. Our best to all of you from all of us kids, Terry, Carol, Bob and Gail Helton.

Words cannot express the sadness in my heart knowing I’ll never hear Wards voice saying “hello…..are you there” again. He started out as my boss, was my mentor, but more important was my friend. Whether he was trying to teach me something about the business, swapping stories about our kids or annual trips back to Montana I always left him with a smile. I miss him terribly but know I’ll see him again one day. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

I will miss Ward so much. In the years that my mother, Kim, has worked with him I had the privilege to get to spend time with him. We had BBQ’s, watched movies, and I always loved playing in the hammock with Jordan and the other neighborhood kids. After I got my puppy Dakota, he got her brother, Cody, for Jordan. We used to sit and watch the two puppies play. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met in my whole life. Just knowing that I’ll never be able to see him again brings tears to my eyes. I will miss him so so much. He was a great person who brought happiness and smiles wherever he went. I love you Ward and I will miss you dearly.

With Love Always,

Marisa

My deepest condolences to everyone that loved him, especially his favorite person in the world, his son Jordan
I met Ward when I started working at Hexcel back in 1996. I started out as his employee, next we became friends, and then I became his girlfriend. We had a good time together full of
Fun and laughter. We went camping,, the ocean, parties, the mountains, romantic dinners and dancing, playing pool and darts, laying in front of the fireplace in each others arms talking all night longand and so much more. I fell in love with him and his son Jordan, who were a team against his dad with water guns Ward loved his son very much and he loved my kids as well. I will cherish the time I spent with him the rest of my life. Ward has come into my dreams a few times over the years since his death and I know it’s him reaching out to him from his dimension to let me know he feels young, pain-free and happy. I will see Ward again on the other side and he will be one of my loved ones that show me the way.
LOVE, Cathleen Bircher
