Paula, I know this is late but I only tonight discovered this guestbook and wanted to add my hugs to those from the others on this site. Be well, and call on me if you need anything at all.
I am so glad I came up to Washington although my heart is still so heavy.
Love you Wes, my brother.
Karen
It doesn’t seem real or possible that we have lost another in our family. May God be with you. You are with me in my thoughts and pryaers.
Wes was a good man, a passionate shop steward who believed in doing what was right. He was always caring and helpful to friends and co-workers. We all will miss him deeply. Gods’ Blessings and comfort to his family during this difficult time.
Wes was a kind and gentle man who gave of himself to his friends and coworkers. He will be dearly missed. Paul J. Bachtel
I was very saddened to learn today of Wes’ passing. In all my years at South Base, I found Wes to be someone we could all depend on for straight forward advise and counsel. I also especially enjoyed our conversations about our love of trains and train travel. We all share a great loss.
Aunt Arlene, Cousin Steve and Paula,
I was shocked when mom called me and told me about Wes. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Arlene, Bev, Paula, and Steve, I wish to send my sincere condolences and prayers. This was such a shock, I have problems even realizing it’s real. Love and Prayers Dixie Elmore
Dear Paula, Arlene, and family-
I am so sorry to hear about Wes’ death.
Although our heads can logically reason that all must die someday…our hearts can never be prepared for the hurt that comes when someone we love is gone. I lost my dad suddenly and without warning 5 years ago, and the emptiness and hurt is still there.
God does make a way, though, if you lean and trust on Him.
I worked with Wes at South Base, and I could not believe that no matter how cold it was outside, I never saw him wear or even carry a jacket! At the base we simply exchanged “hellos”, but I remember how helpful he always was at the pick when I had a question about a particular route I was deciding on. His advice and knowledge was missed at my pick this year…thanks Hal for filling in for him. He will be missed, but his kindness will not be forgotten.
May the Lord bless you and keep you…Brenda Beck
Dear Aunt Arlene, Paula, Steve, and family, Words can not describe the heart felt feelings we have at times like this, our family has been through a lot this past year, and now Wes …he has left us. We all have many special happy memories with Wes… we bless those memories and keep him in our hearts…the happy times were a gift that we’ll keep forever. Much Love, Carol & Ernie
Arkene and Wesley”s family,
We extend our deepest sympathy for your tragic loss. Many times we may question the reason for taking our loved one, but God must have his reason. We can hold onto our wonderful memmories and they give us the reason to carry on.
God Bless,
Jim and Marie
Dear Cousin Arlene,
After we talked, the impact of Wes’s passing hit me physically. Even though Wes and I were never really close, I feel a great sense of loss. I also have fond memories of a few adventures that we shared. However short it was, Wes’s life touched the lives of countless others who will remember him with affection and love. He lives on in their hearts.
Be strong, be well, be at peace.
With love, your cousin, Victor LaMont.
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Am on vacation when I heard the news from another driver. Was shocked. Our condolences & prayers are with the family. Wes has always been there to help with anything that involves work. He will be greatly missed.
Arlene,
So sorry to hear of the homegoing of your son. We never know when God calls His children home. We always expect our children to bury us, but sometimes that is not His plan. Miss seeing you guys very much.
As a Dispatcher at South, I grew to respect and admire Wes. He was always the first to stand up for his fellow worker’s rights, and also the first to help when needed. I was shocked when I heard of his passing, as I’m sure we all were. He will be greatly missed, but as someone else said, never forgotten. We are all better people for having worked with such a man.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours at this difficult time.
We know that your faith will help you thru these troubled waters.

May God grant you strength, comfort, and peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was saddened to hear of Wes’ passing. He was a good man and always interesting to talk to. I didn’t know him well but had talked to him several times over the years at South Base. He will be missed. Sorry I will not be able to attend his service Wednesday afternoon. God Bless
I knew Wes back in the late 60’s and early 70’s, when I lived in Federal Way. He was always a sweet guy and a lot of fun to be around. I am sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with you.

Paula, words cannot begin express the sorrow I feel for you. Though I did not know Wes, you are my friend and sister, thus you do not grieve alone. May God hold you and keep you in this time of need.
Patrick
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
The memories you left your family will remain
with them all their lives.
Dear Family of Wesley Moorehead,
I am sorry about the loss of your loved one. Words cannot describe feelings in a time like this. Many have found comfort in the Bible’s promises of seeing our past loved ones again such as at John 5 verses 28 and 29. Take care of yourselves and keep memories of your past loved one close.
