We were sorry to read about the death of Bill. Kerm still remembers some of the great times we had in law school. Bill was a wonderful person who had many friends. He will be missed by all who came in contact with his warm personality.

Bill and I met when he presented investment porfolio information to our teaching staff some 20+ years ago. However he approached me with his wonderful smile and said I already know you through your mom and dad. He also related wonderful stories about a couple of my uncles. Why am I sharing this? I am sharing this because that was the type of warm and friendly guy he was to many people in the community. He actually did not mention any more about his business presentation, but was sincerely engaged with catching up and telling wonderful stories he had about my family. In fact I had to remind him to give me forms because he was never about “making the pitch or sale” but was all about connecting on a personal and caring level. I am sure there are wonderful stories that will continue to be shared by this great guy.

On behalf of my family, I would like to extend our sincere condolences on your loss.

Blessings to the Wing Family as you say ‘goodbye’ to your husband, father and grandfather. I know how very proud he was of his children and their accomplishments. He once told me he ‘couldn’t be more proud’ of his children. His love for Kathy was evident in the sparkle in this eyes when he said her name.

Love and Hugs to you all,

Joyce & Don Ragsdale

My mama always told me that “the proof is in the pudding”. I look at the legacy that Bill left with his children and you can immediately see the positive impact he had on this world. To Kathy, all my love and sympathy to you. To Dave, Barry and Cindy…you are great people who come from a great family and you had a fantastic father. You were very lucky. All the best. Duncan

We will miss Bill’s wonderful smile. He was an inspiration to Rod when he was in scouts.
