Laura, I never had the pleasure of knowing your dad, but in the time I’ve known you, I can tell what a special person he was to everyone that knew him. His legacy carries on within you and T, and the beautiful souls you both have.
Thinking of you always!
Dear Bill,
I wanted to thank you for being Laura’s dad. I know how much your love means to her and how loving you made her a better person. I see how caring for you taught her to care deeply for others, whether it be her family, co-workers, friends or the families she serves. I know you will not be forgotten – Laura will tell T every silly, adventurous, brave story about the time you two shared … because it meant so much. Rest easy Bill and know that you were a great dad.
My sympathies to the rest of Laura’s family as well.

Bill was a very special person that I’m proud to have known for so many years. He wasn’t my real father or even step father technically, because my mother never got a chance to marry him but he was the closest thing I have ever had. He told me weeks before he passed that he was so proud of me and he wished that If he could have another son that it would be me. I felt so honored At that moment in that kitchen Bill opened up to me and cried his poor eyes out, told me how much he cared about me because he knew that he wasn’t going to make it through this battle with cancer. That was the first and last time I ever saw him cry, I miss you so much, love you Dad.
