Passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2005 in Seattle. William was born July 13, 1922 in Richmond, Virginia. .He served our country in the military, retiring from the Navy. He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Bonnie L. Jefferson, married on May 12, 1952 in San Diego, one son, Terry Lee Jefferson of Seattle; two sisters, Mary E. Johnson of Richmond, VA; Bernice A. Jefferson of Brooklyn, NY; two brothers, Thomas L. Jefferson in Germany and Carl Lee Jefferson of Richmond, VA; five sister-in-laws; two brother-in-laws; a host of nieces and nephews including Rev. Marvin Jefferson of Richmond, VA, and niece, Almeta Jefferson; a devoted care giver, Pauline Watson of Seattle, WA and a host of other family relatives and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bonney-Watson Funeral Directors with Reverend Braxton and Reverend McKinney officiating with the musical accompaniment of Darryl Ligget. A visitation will be offered on Monday, January 10, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bonney-Watson Capitol Hill, 1732 Broadway, 206-322-0013. Funeral Ceremony will be offered at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with motor brigade excort to Washington Memorial Park for Vault Burial with Military Honors.
