William Mont Saunderson
Born August 16, 1925, died March 31, 2009.
Beloved husband of 60 years of Margaret ‘Marti’; loving father of Susanne Gene Marckx, Deborah Jess, Thomas Leslie, Nora Terrance Maloney, Katherine Michael Hebrank and Joseph; grandfather of Anna, Gabriel, Robert, Amanda, Elizabeth, Jeffrey, Philip, Adriana, and Wyatt and brother of Marjorie Mayer.
Vigil 7:30 PM Friday April 3, 2009 at Bonney-Watson Parker Chapel, 900 SW 146th Street, Burien and Funeral Mass 12:00 PM Saturday, April 4, 2009 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 15230 – 21st Avenue SW, Seahurst.

I was sad to hear of Bill’s death, I’m sure all will miss him.
Upon hearing of his passing I recalled several poignant moments. Toward the end of my Dad’s life I played golf with Bill and my Dad frequently at their favorite course, Tyee. Even then I thought Bill should drive a cart as it looked to me he would never make it without one, but he insisted on walking.
When I was young our families would get together to watch the Seafair hydroplane races on TV, it seemed Bill Mr. Saunderson in those days and my Dad really enjoyed each other’s company.
Lastly, at my father’s service Bill looked at me, tears welling up in his eyes and said, “I’m going to miss that guy”.
