I wrote a poem a few years back that was published recently called “My Grandmothers Eyes.”

My Grandmother’s eyes speak of a deep understanding. An understanding of life and what it holds for us. The richness that she has captured in life. I see in her eyes the hope, happiness and joy that she has seen.

I see in her eyes the troubles, times of despair

she has gone through. Only one can live up to the name and beauty captured in her eyes.

I love you Grandma. – Jennifer
