I was saddened to hear of Mrs. Bills passing. My sincerest sympathies go out to her family.
I am so glad to have made the trip to see Vi a year ago. See loved life and lived it with family and friends.Marti and I will not forget her. My condolences to the family.
My heart goes out to my cousins, I am so sorry you have now lost both of your parents.
My Auntie Vi was a great Mom to her children, and she reached beyond her own kids to give love and support. She was the first person to call me after my beloved daughter Eneken died of a long painful terminal illness, asking what she could do when she herself was dealing with her own health issues… selfless and supportive, Vi had a heart of gold and her friendhip meant the world to me.
I miss you!
Love, Chris
Our deepest sympathies.
My sincere condolences.
I am so glad Dad and I made the trip last year. Seeing Vi and meeting the family again was wonderful.
“Vi” was a dynamic woman who had a great impact on my entire family. My father was friends with Vi and Red since the early 50’s and my Mother too soon thereafter. They would visit often as I was growing up. When my Father passed they were there to support my Mother and when my Mother passed they were the first to come and the last to go. Vi and I became much closer and we would talk on a regular basis since 1997. Red would be out working on the house and Vi would be reorganizing my kitchen or cooking which she always seemed to do doing. I would always receive a box filled with a variety of cookies and candy every Christmas.
My life would not have been the same without her presence. She always knew how to put a smile on my face or to impart words of wisdom. Her laughter was contagious and she always knew the right story to fit the occasion. Vi was unique, genuine and a true friend and I shall always cherish having known her.
My condolences to the entire family and I regret, due to my heath being unable to attend her memorial.
Vi was a good friend and neighbor. My grandkids Walter and William always wanted to stop by her house on Halloween to show her their costumes, because they knew she would give them an extra handfull of candy. She was a very loving and caring person to us.We will miss her alot.
