Obituary
Yoly Eleanor Franco passed away at the age of 69 after a hard-fought battle with health complications. Yoly leaves behind her husband George Franco, and son Julian Franco. Her family prays that her soul is now reunited with their late son and brother, Emmanuel Franco, and her parents.
Yoly grew up in Paracale, Camarines Norte in the Philippines, and later immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1973. She then met her husband George and settled in Seattle, Washington for the remainder of her many chapters of life.
Her family could boast forever about her zeal for life, thunderous laughter, cooking skills, and trendy fashion. However, in the days after her passing, here are some comments shared that capture Yoly’s impact on her loved ones and the community.
• We will miss her infectious laughter and wittiness. She’s no longer in pain and at peace with our Lord.
• Rest in peace, Ninang Ditche. Thank you for your generosity. We will miss your laughter.
• She brought life to Rainier Lodge ladies’ functions with her infectious laughter and sense of humor. She will be greatly missed.
• We spent so many good years together laughing, giggling, and having a great time at Masonic functions. I will definitely miss her.
• We’re deeply saddened by Mare Yoly’s passing. She’s my dearest kumare and her bubbly personality and sense of humor will stay in our hearts forever. Mare Yoly will be sorely missed!
• Ate Yoly, your soul was a true blessing to my life and to so many others radiating love, kindness, and generosity. I will forever treasure the memories of your radiant smile and warm heart. Ate Yoly, saying goodbye is heartbreaking. You may be gone, but your light and love will forever remain in our hearts.
• Yoly is such a jolly, loving, and generous person. She will be sorely missed.
• She was such a sweet mama. Her contagious laugh will be with my always.
• She was a good storyteller, funny, and her laugh was infectious. Her presence could light up the room and she made many of the ladies smile and laugh with her fun demeanor. She had this knack for cooking the tastiest and most irresistible Filipino food. She just had her way to our hearts and our tummies!

We had lots of memories with you especially when we just moved to Seattle from Wisconsin and you from Toronto. Sharing recipes, cooking tips playing madjhong and lots of laughter .
