Obituary

Zeda Louise Phillips Lynch. After a long battle with heart disease, our Mother went to be with Jesus and his amazing grace on November 28th, 2003. She was youngest of four to be born to Ruth Day and Charles Phillips, on July 1, 1919 in Tablerock, Nebraska. In the early 40’s she moved to Washington where she met and married Arthur Vernon Lynch on February 13, 1942. They lived in Yakima and had two children, Carol & Patrick. They moved to Seattle in about 1945. After losing Patrick to an accident, they started selling cookware in OR where Candese was born. They traveled between Oregon, Idaho, Washington and Montana until 1951 when they moved back to Washington. Daddy went to work for Boeing with Cheryl being born the next year. In 1955, they bought their first home by SeaTac airport. She lived there for 48 years, even after Vernon died in 1975. Mama remarried in 1980 to Sam Bailey, who died in 1997. Mama loved her home and caring for it. She also enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, sewing, crocheting, gardening and doll making. She was a member of Eastern Star and loved going to the SeaTac Senior Center for lunch with her friend, Betty Dezutter. Most of all, she loved being with her family. She leaves behind daughters; Carol Lynch, Candese Darrell Hoog, and Cheryl David Lynch-Clevenger; and grandchildren, Patrick and Kelly Elaine O’Brien, and Casey, Brandy, and David Clevenger; sister, Zethel Massey of Humboldt, NE and brother, Glen Phillips of Pharr, TX. She also leaves Keekoo, her beloved dog that stayed by her side. Preceding her in death are husbands, Arthur V. Lynch and Sam Bailey; daughter, Peggy Palacios; son, Patrick Arthur; sister, Zelma Kenner; and brother, Arnold Phillips. She was a fantastic mother to us all . We will miss her great sense of humor. We will love her and miss her every day until we meet again. The family wishes to thank the SeaTac Fire and Police and the King County Sheriff who came in our hour of need and were so kind. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 12/02/03 from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Graveside Committal Service will be held on Wednesday, 12/03/03 at 12:30 PM. Both will be held at BONNEY-WATSON Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA

It has been almost two months and it seems like yesterday we were talking. I miss you so much it is hard to go on pretending everthing is ok. Keeko is doing fine so don’t worry about her. Did I tell enough times that I love you?
